This is silly. None of our QB’s were used as battering rams


against ND. They were used to try to magnify the strengths that each QB had to win the game. Yes, Fu used Jerod Evans as a battering ram back in 2016. And I guess one could argue that Blumrick was being used in that way too. But my goodness, Blumrick showed right off the bat that he is challenged on passing. I would have liked to see Knox Kadem get a shot. It’s football, not tiddlywinks. And no, I’m not blindly defending the coaches on this one, it’s just basic sense to me. I am down on Fuente and staff’s inability to win the close games.
